Make memories and explore all that Madison, Indiana has to offer in this spacious vacation rental!
General's Quarters is ideal for families and friends for get-togethers with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths (2 King bedrooms with private bathrooms and 2 Queen bedrooms that share a bathroom).
General's Quarters is located 1 block from the river, and very close to Bicentennial Park on W 1st Street (where most festivals are located) with views and walking distance to everything in Madison.
General's Quarters is well equiped for your next stay. Here are common questions we have received since opening our home to guests. We hope this will help you in your planning.
There is off-street parking in the rear of the building. Usually there is plenty of parking in front on the street as well. However, during some of the more popular festivals or events street parking is harder to find. Let us know when you plan to arrive and we'll do whatever we can to make sure you and your group have enough parking.
We love kids of all ages to stay at GQ. Please let us know if you have younger children so we can make some slight changes to ensure they are safe. For example, we provide cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. We will place this on the counter away from them. There are also 2 flights of stairs. We do offer coloring books and children's programing on the streaming TV's through the house. There is also a excellent park just a few minutes walk from the house that the kids will love.
At this time we do not allow pets. The house is large and not a quick clean between guests so we have chosen not to offer this at this time. We do have excellent local dog boarding options. Let us know if you need any recommendations.
